WHY DO THEY MAKE THIS SO DIFFICULT!?Īnd no, Windows will not search the internet for the appropriate driver. I could download hundreds of drivers and let Windows pick the one it likes but it would be far simpler to find the part number for the device. I tried the one described as being for Windows 7 but Windows won’t accept it as the appropriate driver nor will Windows accept the other two drivers. When I enter Platform: “Windows 7 64bit” the Marvell site gives me three drivers. How do I find the part number for this device? Part Number: There are 27 part numbers! The first part number gives me about 30 different drivers! When I look in the Device manager, it gives me all sorts of wonderful information about the device but no part number. The site asks for the platform and the part number. I need the driver for the Marvell 91xx Config ATA Device running under Windows 7.
